Designed with user convenience and reliability in mind, the Geomatrix marine magnetometer telemetry system is a plug-and-play solution optimized for short to medium-length center conductor armored wirelines. This system comprises a topside power supply and a wet-end enclosure, offering up to 8 data channels that support a variety of digital devices.
The Top End power/data unit has been engineered for reliability, free of unnecessary complexities. Simply plug the system into a 240V mains supply (optional 110V available) and switch it on. LEDs on the front panel provide clear indicators to confirm if the unit is operating correctly.
The system provides both 12V and 28V DC power rails, allowing it to operate up to 5 Geometrics G-882 magnetometers, along with digital gyros, digital altimeters, digital sound velocity probes, or any other digital devices transmitting data via serial communication.
The small and compact design of the Wet End electronics package, coupled with the innovative Geomatrix TVG frame, enables the unit to be mounted directly onto the tow point assembly without introducing noise into the magnetometers.
Additionally, the wet-end unit features an integrated digital pitch and roll module for real-time monitoring of the towfish frame's stability during deployment.
Designed for shallow water deployment, the TVG Telemetry system can operate on up to 500m of wireline, depending on the cable type.
