Product Overview The ORPHIESCAPH is a specialized, compact underwater camera system designed specifically for professional and commercial divers. While the OrphieCam 300 series is built for ROVs, the ORPHIESCAPH package is tailored for human-centric missions, offering a lightweight and easy-to-attach form factor that integrates seamlessly with commercially available diving helmets and masks.

It utilizes i2S's patented real-time image enhancement technology to triple the visibility range in turbid (murky) water, allowing divers to work safely and efficiently in environments where they would otherwise be "blind."

  • Compact & Lightweight: Specifically engineered to avoid adding significant bulk or drag to a diver's gear. It can be mounted on a helmet (e.g., Kirby Morgan) or used as a handheld unit.
  • Visibility x3: Uses the same high-end processing found in the ROV models to filter out backscatter and suspended particles. This allows the diver (and the topside supervisor) to see structures and targets through thick silt or organic matter.
  • Low-Latency Feedback: Critical for safety; the camera provides a real-time feed with minimal delay (sub-150ms), ensuring that what the diver sees on their mask display or the surface monitor is what is happening now.
  • True Color Restoration: At a depth of 300m, colors are naturally absorbed by the water. The ORPHIESCAPH restores these colors in real-time, which is essential for identifying corrosion, identifying specific valve colors, or biological surveying.
