Product Overview
The Teledyne BlueView M450 Mk2 is a compact, high-performance 2D multibeam imaging sonar designed specifically for long-range underwater detection and navigation. Operating at 450 kHz, it occupies the "long-range" slot in the M-Series lineup, providing a significant boost in distance over the higher-frequency M900 models while maintaining a wide 130° field of view.
The Mk2 generation features a unique open nose cone design, which eliminates the acoustic losses associated with traditional oil-filled or solid-capped sonars. This results in crisper, "video-like" imagery with improved range performance, even in zero-visibility conditions or dynamic environments.
