iXblue Gaps M5

The Gaps M5 is a Medium frequency Ultra-Short Baseline (USBL) positioning system designed for precise location, positioning, and tracking of subsea assets across ultra-shallow to medium water depths. It integrates an USBL with a heading and attitude sensor utilizing iXblue FOG technology. Notably, Gaps M5 is exempt from export restrictions and represents a lighter and more compact version of the Gaps system, renowned as the lightest high-performance USBL system available.

The Gaps M5 system is conveniently packaged in 1 flight case, inclusive of the Gaps M5 head, the Gaps Box, and a 20-meter cable. For extended cable lengths, 50-meter and 95-meter options are available and delivered separately, accompanied by an additional package such as a plywood transit box or flight case upon request. The Pellicase dimensions measure 80 x 60 x 50 cm, with a total weight of 60 kg.
