Product Overview The Sonardyne Gyro USBL is a groundbreaking "all-in-one" acoustic transceiver that combines a 6th Generation (6G) USBL head with an internal Lodestar AHRS/INS (Attitude and Heading Reference System / Inertial Navigation System).

By integrating the motion sensors directly into the acoustic transceiver housing and pre-calibrating the alignment in the factory, Sonardyne has eliminated the most common source of error in subsea positioning: the mechanical alignment between the vessel's gyro and the acoustic pole. This system allows you to install the unit and begin surveying immediately, offering accuracy that matches or exceeds permanent hull-mounted systems.
