Product Overview

The Kongsberg cNODE Maxi is the largest and most capable transponder in the cNODE series. Engineered for reliability in the most demanding offshore environments, the Maxi is designed to work seamlessly with Kongsberg’s HiPAP (High Precision Acoustic Positioning) and HPR systems.

Utilizing the advanced Cymbal digital acoustic protocol, the cNODE Maxi provides higher range accuracy, longer battery life, and more robust data telemetry than traditional analog transponders. With a modular design that supports over 500 distinct digital channels, it is the industry’s go-to solution for seabed reference, ROV/AUV tracking, and deep-water subsea construction.
