Product Overview The Exail Ramses is an advanced acoustic synthetic baseline (ASBL) transceiver designed to simplify subsea positioning. While traditional LBL systems require complex arrays and surface-side processing, Ramses features a fully embedded architecture that calculates position data directly on the subsea vehicle.

Ramses is the "active" partner to the Canopus transponder. When tightly coupled with Exail’s Inertial Navigation Systems (INS) like Phins or Rovins, it enables Sparse-LBL—a revolutionary method that achieves centimetric accuracy using significantly fewer seabed transponders. This integration allows for robust, drift-free navigation even with just a single transponder in range.

  • Universal Compatibility: Available in Medium Frequency (MF) for standard work and Low Frequency (LF) for ultra-long-range applications (up to 10km).
