iXblue Gaps M7

The Gaps M7 is an advanced Ultra Short Baseline (USBL) positioning and communication system engineered for precise location and communication with subsea assets. It integrates an USBL antenna with a fiber-optic inertial navigation system (INS) within the same housing, eliminating the need for USBL calibration in the field. Advanced acoustic techniques, including wideband signals, ensure optimal performance even in challenging conditions.

With its unique 3D acoustic array, the Gaps M7 enables tracking and communication from deep sea to extremely shallow waters, as well as at angles above horizontal. The packing list includes the Gaps acoustic array and INS head, a CD box containing software packages, a Quick Start guide, and an electronic User Manual copy. Additionally, the package comprises a Surface Gaps-Box and a main cable available in lengths of 50 meters or 95 meters.
