Product Overview The R2 Sonic 2022-V is a compact, wideband multibeam echosounder (MBES) designed for shallow-to-medium water depths. Positioned as the higher-resolution sibling to the 2020-V, the 2022-V features a larger receiver array that delivers twice the angular resolution, making it the premier choice for detailed hydrographic charting, dredging, and subsea infrastructure inspection.

As part of the Sonic-V Series, this system includes the modernized VOX-IM interface module and VOX Control software. With its selectable frequency range (170kHz to 450kHz) and ultra-compact form factor, it is optimized for rapid mobilization on everything from Autonomous Surface Vehicles (ASVs) to standard survey launches.
