The AAE S-Boom is a high-power, high-resolution sub-bottom profiling system that redefines the capabilities of boomer technology. By synchronizing three AA252 boomer plates onto a single towed catamaran, the S-Boom generates a focused, directed beam of acoustic energy. This unique configuration allows it to achieve the deep penetration typically associated with sparker systems (up to 200ms/150m+) while maintaining the ultra-high vertical resolution (<0.25m) that only a boomer pulse can provide.
